Happy Monday bookish friends! I’m popping in today to share some exciting bookmail that arrived today.
I’m linking up to the Mailbox Monday over here – it’s a lovely gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week, so do check it out.
And now onto my fabulous and timely bookmail from today…
Love and Other Scores by Abra Pressler
I have had my eye on upcoming queer romcom Love and Other Scores by local Canberra author Abra Pressler since it was announced (you might have seen it featured on my post about 3 upcoming novels by Canberra authors that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on), so I was thrilled to find it on my doorstep today! I’ll be popping this at the top of my tbr so I can share a review soon (it comes out in Australia next Tuesday 28 Nov!).
Check out the synopsis below, and let me know in the comments if you think you might check this one out!
Synopsis of Abra Pressler’s Love and Other Scores
Gabriel is a global tennis superstar and heartthrob. As he eyes his first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open, the pressure is getting to him. After an intense practice session, Gabriel finds refuge in a bar, where he meets Noah.
Oblivious to sports, Noah doesn’t recognise Gabriel, but there is an instant connection. The more time they spend together in the blazing heat of a Melbourne summer, the more their feelings and attraction grow.
Both Gabriel and Noah have their reasons for wanting to keep their romance private. With the stakes so high, will they be willing to risk everything for love all?
Love and Other Scores by Abra Pressler is out 28 November from Pan Macmillan.
