Friday FavouriteS :: 7 May
I’m popping in with a super quick Friday favourites post today because I’m all out of words and energy after all the excitement of the past few weeks. This might be another obvious one, but my favourite thing this week has of course been our trip to Sydney for the Writers’ Festival. I fully intend to write up a bit more about the day, linking the books and authors I saw, but for now I just couldn’t let a favourites post pass without mentioning it.
Everything about the weekend is lovely. I always love the Sydney Writers’ Festival YA day – I have probably mentioned before that they do the most amazing job planning the program and running the events. Of course this year it was also super exciting to be at an in person event again, and to see people out and about loving books and authors.
As well as the actual panels we saw I loved the Festival Hub, which included the festival book shop as well as a couple of places to get food and coffee. I was very restrained and only picked up two books, both of which were on my shopping list! In all it was a brilliant day, and as always I’m looking forward to the next one already!
Let me know in the comments what you’re loving this week!
I love this post!
And I loved rereading the first three Heartstopper volumes in preparation for reading volume 4, which I also loved.
