Ok, so I’ve had my eye on this one basically just because it looks adorable! My lovely friend Star read it recently and recommended I read it, so I’m extra keen now!

The Friendship Matchmaker by Randa Abdel-Fattah
I love Randa Abdel-Fattah’s writing, and have really enjoyed listening to her speak when I have seen her at a few events, but I don’t think I have read any of her books yet! I thought this contemporary school-based fiction about friendship sounded fun!

The Peacock Detectives by Carly Nugent
Perhaps this seems a bit silly, but I actually know nothing about this one except that the cover is insanely beautiful, it is shortlisted for the CBCA awards, and a bunch of people I like have recommended it. I love going into a book blind sometimes, so I’m looking forward to it!
